CHOKER

This black dichroic necklace is a wonderful addition to anybody’s jewellery collection as can be worn and will blend well with any outfit!  All you need is:

1mm and 2mm black cotton cord, 3 dichroic beads and if you’re not proficient at making your own coiled crimped clasps – then keep the cord long enough to tie at the back. (materials can be found here)

  1. Begin by threading the 2mm black cotton cord (approx. 16”) with 3 dichroic beads.
  2. Cut another length of 1mm cotton cord (approx. 24”) and place the centre of this cord at the centre of beaded cord.
  3. Create 2 knots on each side of the central dichroic bead, securing it at the centre of the 2mm cord.
  4. Leave a space of ½” (1.5cm) and create another knot on the 2mm cord on each side of the central bead, pushing the other 2 beads up against these knots.
  5. Repeat on the opposite sides of the beads, securing all 3 beads in place on the 2mm black cord.
  6. Tie the cords together on either side and cut the cords to the desired necklace length.
